3rd Day

Today we woke up to a beautiful and sunny day in Partaharju. Last night we had the camp Olympics, in which the groups walked around the camp doing various tasks.

I wanted to ask my group, raw fish and a dolphin, to write a small paragraph about their day:

Anonymous:
Today I woke up when the biggies charged into the cabin blasting music and singing. Camp has been fun so far but it is exhausting because I can not sleep well and the schedule is packed. I have had fun meeting new people and doing activities together. Today I’m looking forward to relaxing during the night prayer.

Emilia.H:
I woke up to my roommate walking to the bathroom. I felt well rested when waking up. My favorite part about camp so far would have to be all the friends i’ve made so far. I’m looking forward to the daily competition later today.

Miriam:
I woke up after One Direction started playing loudly and I felt tired but well rested. My favourite thing about camp so far has been the olympics because it was fun to work as a team and the activities were fun. I am looking forward to the yoga later as I hope it’ll be relaxing.

Alex.A:
I woke up to some very loud music and I woke up feeling mad at the biggies for playing this loud music to wake me up. My favourite part of the camp so far has been having fun chatting and doing cool activities with all the new friends I’ve found. I am looking forward to free time today.

Anonymous:
I woke up today by some music it was kinda annoying, but it fully woke me up. I think that the favourite thing about the camp is the free time because then you can relax and do whatever you want to. I am looking forward to relax.

 02.08.2021 Today after lunch we had medis where Eero, our nightguard, read us Winnie the Pooh. Then we had a class on the Holy Communion which was very interesting.  Sitten päivälliseksi syötiin perunamuusia ja kalapuikkoja. Päivällisen jälkeen siivottiin huoneemme ja kirjoitettiin oppimispäiväkirjaan.  After this we played the World Trade Game, where we learnt about the world economy and how unfair it is. Then we had the evening program where we had entertaining performances by the biggies.  Päivän lopuksi me laskettiin lippu, syötiin iltapala ja rauhotuttiin kompliksessa.  This morning (03.08.2021) we got woken up by the biggies. Then we ate breakfast. We didn't raise the flag because it was raining. Instead we went straight to laudes.  Meillä oli tämän jälkeen kolme oppituntia: Jumalan luomistarina, sosiaalivastuu ja ympäristö. Luomiskertomuksen piirtäminen oli hauskaa.  Oula: I woke up yesterday happy because I finally slept the whole night and then breakfast was nothing exciting, just bread and fruit. After that in class we learned about death and it was interesting to see what everyone else thought would happen after you die. It was strange because in the afternoon many people were telling me how energetic and happy I looked but it didn't feel like anything special. Once the evening prayer was over I was simply just looking forward to sleeping in. Lila: Yesterday was such a fun day! In the morning I woke up from my biggie's loud 7:30 AM alarm. After I got ready I went to breakfast in the place where breakfast is. I wanted porridge and managed to spill porridge all over my lap and had to change my pants. In class we talked about sin and morals which lead to interesting conversations. After I had bread for lunch and cleaned the floors for my daily sausage (tasks). After we talked about the bead of death which was such a deep conversation that

The first day 29.7.2021

Ensimmäinen päivä, first day 29.7.2021   Päivä alkoi yhteisellä aamupalalla klo 8 aikaan, ja sen jälkeen siirryimme suunnittelemaan leiriä ja valmistelemaan luokkatiloja. Päivä sujui mukavasti - aluksi leiriä suunnitellen, ja sen jälkeen rippikoululaisten vastaanottaessa.  Ensimmäiset rippikoululaiset saapuivat noin 11 aikoihin. Isoset ottivat heti tilanteen hyvin haltuun, ja lähtivat yksitellen saattamaan nuoria omiin majoitustiloihinsa.  The day started with a breakfast at 8, and after that we proceeded to plan the camp and made sure everything is ready for the confirmands. The first ones arrived around 11, and the biggies handled the situation so well! They escourted the confirmands to their rooms that they will stay in during the camp.  Tässä Sofien raamisryhmän ajatuksia ensimmäisestä päivästä: Leiri alkoi eilen rippikoululaisten tulolla ja lounaalla.
